Respite or convalescence care is a short-stay solution that is offered on both a residential and specialist dementia care basis.

Respite care is an arrangement that can be from two weeks up to several months. The most common reasons for respite care include: providing an individual extra support following post-operative or hospital care; when a regular caregiver takes a break; or to simply introduce the idea of care to an individual and their loved ones.
